A Place to Belong
From the moment you arrive, we want you to feel like a part of our family. Our church is made up of people from different walks of life and backgrounds. Together, we're all learning, growing, and finding joy in God’s love. Here, you’ll find open arms, open doors, and a community where strangers become friends and friends become family.
We’d love to welcome you this Sunday morning or Wednesday evening and share the journey with you.
What to Expect
We know that visiting a new church can be nerve-wracking. Our desire is that every person who walks through our doors feels welcomed and loved. Below are some quick details about our services. Please refer to our FAQ page for additional information that will hopefully give you an idea of what to expect when you visit us at Highlands.
When and Where
Our Sunday service begins at 10:00 am each Sunday and is followed directly by our Bible Study classes around 11:15 am. We also meet on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm for Midweek Manna, a shared donation-based meal, followed by Bible study at 6:30 pm. Our campus is conveniently located in South Lakeland in the Lakeland Highlands region between Lakeland and Bartow.
Our Campus
Our main building is where we worship on Sunday mornings and have some of our Bible classes. We also have our Family Life Center which is a large gymnasium that hosts our meals, activities, and events.
Where Do I Park?
We have a pretty large parking lot beside our 2 buildings. Please feel free to park in the designated visitor spots or park anywhere convenient for you. You can then make your way to the front entrance where one of our ushers will be waiting to greet you and to show you where to go from there.
What Should I Wear?
We genuinely care about who you are, not what you wear. At Highlands you will find people wearing anything from jeans and polos to suits and dresses. Most importantly wear an open heart that's receptive to the Word and what God has to say to you during worship.
What About my Kids?
We have a full range of age appropriate programs for children of all ages, starting with our nursery for the littlest of these, all the way to HYG which is our youth group program. We host classes and activities that are geared toward helping kids build healthy relationships with God and their peers.
