What to Expect

If you visit us for a worship service on Sunday, you can expect to be greeted warmly and to be asked to join us in worship. We have prayers to God and acappella congregational singing utilizing a mixture of traditional hymns and contemporary praise and worship songs. Our sermons are Christ-centered and Bible based with special attention paid to daily application. Sunday night worship is called "Evening Reflections" and provides the opportunity to dig deeper and make application of the morning sermon theme in a relaxed atmosphere. We observe the Lord's Supper every Sunday. There is a collection to fund the Lord's work. A weekly bulletin is available to tell of congregational activities and an order of worship is provided for each Sunday morning service. We also offer a Children's Worship time for all our children ages 2 through 5 which provides the children with a Bible lesson on their level.

The Highlands Family

We are made up of a typical cross section of our community with people of all ages, races, and educational backgrounds. Among our number are business owners, veterinarians, secretaries, elementary school teachers, contractors, sales persons, technicians, retired people, and many other professions. Within our numbers will be a smaller group in which you will easily find yourself at home.

While we are not perfect, we have a perfect Lord to whom we are all devoted. We invite you to visit with us and get to know us. We think you will find us to be a friendly, Bible believing group of Christians striving to serve our Lord.
