Highlands Ministries

Children's Ministry

The children's ministry as Highlands oversees activities and programs designed to meet the needs of preschool through fifth grade students. These activities include Children's Bible Hour each Sunday morning and periodic special events.

Teen Ministry

The Highlands teen ministry oversees activities and programs designed to meet the needs of middle and high school students. Our "youth group" stays busy with spiritual, service, and social events -- each designed to build spiritually mature teenage christians.

Women's Ministry

The women's ministry at Highlands plans special events each month for our ladies. Special events each year include Ladies' Day and a weekend retreat.

Single's Ministry

The Highlands single's ministry coordinates events and activities associated with single adults.

Worship

Vibrant worship is an important part of our congregation. Effort is made each week to prepare meaningful worship in communion, in prayer, in song, and inspiring messages from God's word.

Education

Continual learning is important to the spiritual growth of all christians. Highland's education ministry focuses on planning and coordinating appropriate Bible classes for all ages.

Community Care

Highlands' community care ministry provides benevolent care to those in need. Highlands maintains a food pantry and supports faith-based assistance programs to meet other needs.

Missions

The consistent support of mission programs has been a hallmark of the Highlands congregation since it's founding. The missions ministry coordinates Highlands involvement with these important missions programs.
